FIDE Congress Sofia 2023

Dr. Panagiota Xylaki has been appointed national rapporteur for the international Federation of European Law (FIDE) on the topic: European Social Union. The XXX Fide (International Federation of European Law) Congress took place in Sofia between 31 May and 3 June 2023.

The other two topics discussed were the rule of Law (MUTUAL TRUST, MUTUAL RECOGNITION AND THE RULE OF LAW) and the geopolitical dimensions of Competition Law (THE NEW GEOPOLITICAL DIMENSION OF THE EU COMPETITION AND TRADE POLICIES). Judges form the most important European Courts (EU Court, Bundesverfassungsgericht, Conseil constitutionnel etc.) academics and practitioners had a vivid discussion on the most important developments of EU Law.
